Introducing Simple Snowflakes by Tami Mayberry for Gina K Designs

Well, the plan was for this post to be ready at the usual 8am....but I got busy at the release party last night and didn't get it finished and then overlept. But, an hour later, I'm up now with (decaf) coffee in hand and ready to go! So here we go!! ;)

I have to say this month's stamp set is probably one of my most anticipated stamp sets in the 3 years I have been creating stamp sets for Gina K Designs. I don't know what it is but something about it makes me just want to keep making winter cards. And Christmas cards. And all sorts of other cards!

Wait until you see what non-winter cards I have in mind!! 

I am SO excited that I can finally share my newest stamp set:

Simple Snowflakes
(available in both clear polymer and red rubber)

Today I have several cards to share that I showed during the release party last night.




Instructions:

  1. Create 4.25"x 5.5" card base from Pure Luxury Kraft card stock (Gina K Designs).
  2. With the card front face down, use a scoring board (Scor-pal) to score two lines 1 1/4" apart. 
  3. Stamp greeting below line with Colorbox Arctic Deep Limited Edition pigment ink. (Clearsnap).
  4. Stamp snowflakes onto Pure Luxury White card stock (Gina K Designs) with Colorbox Limited Edition pigment inks in Pink Barn, Red Sky and Sea Crystal. (Clearsnap). Cut out with dies or punches. Adhere between lines.
  5. Add baby blue rhinestone to center of blue snowflake. (Want2Scrap)




Instructions:
  1. Create 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" card base from Pure Luxury Black Onyx card stock (Gina K Designs).
  2. Cut 4"x 5 1/2" piece of Pure Luxury White card stock (Gina K Designs) and adhere to base.
  3. Cut 3 3/4" x 5" piece of embossed card stock (or create your own using an embossing folder) and adhere to card base.
  4. Place self-adhesive swirls rhinestone design (Want2Scrap) along left edge.
  5. Stamp snowflake circle onto Pure Luxury White card stock with Colorbox Kettle Premium Dye ink (Clearsnap). 
  6. Cut out image with circle punch or die. Add red pearl. 
  7. Layer snowflake image onto scalloped circle cut from Black Onyx Pure Luxury card stock (Gina K Designs) and use pop dots to attach to card base.
  8. Use Kettle ink to stamp greeting from Wishing You Joy stamp set (Gina K Designs) onto Pure Luxury White card stock. Cut out with ribbon die or cut into strip and snip ends with scissors and adhere to card base.




Instructions:
  1. Create 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" card base from Pure Luxury Turquoise Sea card stock (Gina K Designs).
  2. Stamp border image image onto Pure Luxury White card stock (Gina K Designs) with Colorbox Nautical premium dye ink (Clearsnap). Stamp hearts in open circles. 
  3. Add mini turquoise gems to snowflake centers. Cut out and adhere to card base.
  4. Stamp large pointed snowflake image with nautical ink. Cut out with circle die or punch.  
  5. Stamp "Winter Wishes" snowflake with Colorbox Glacier Lake archival dye ink (Clearsnap). Use punch or die to cut greeting from center. 
  6. Layer snowflake image and use pop dots to attach to card base.




Instructions:

  1. Create 4.25"x 5.5" card base from Pure Luxury white card stock (Gina K Designs). Round bottom corners with corner rounder .
  2. Stamp circle onto Pure Luxury white card stock using Colorbox Grasshopper Archival Dye Ink (Clearsnap). 
  3. Stamp snowflake in center of circle with Colorbox Pinkalicious Archival Dye ink (Clearsnap). 
  4. Cut out image with circle punch or die. Add green gem (Want2Scrap). 
  5. Layer snowflake image onto scalloped circle cut from Grass Green Pure Luxury card stock (Gina K Designs). Adhere to card base.
  6.  Stamp greeting with Pinkolicious ink.

snowflakes are one of the best things about Christmas and winter time (except if you have to shovel them..lol)
