This has been a rather eventful weekend for me.
Yesterday I typed up my very last post and uploaded my very last card on the CPS blog.
It's been a great journey but I am ready to take another path now.
Like what?
I will be posting here on my blog much more frequently.
I still plan on creating sketches.
I'll still be doing the sketches for CardMaker magazine. And I'll be posting some here on my blog as well.
My Project Life page protectors came yesterday.
So, I am going to be starting that VERY soon.
I plan on sharing much of that here on my blog-including tips, ideas and even some free digital downloads and free cut files. Of course, I'll also be sharing tutorials on how to use them for those who need help. If you aren't familiar with Project Life it is a simplified form of scrapbooking. I am looking forward to it because I have never been a huge fan of 12x12 pages. But with this new format I can make smaller pieces that will go together to complete one larger display. I am looking at it as small art cards or like a card front.
Here is the layout for two of the page designs I ordered from Amazon.

I am planning a mix of 4x6 photos & cards and 2x3 photos & cards. There are some pages with even more of the smaller pockets that are perfect for Instagram photos.
My new stamp set "Take Note" and older "Vintage Notes" set should be an ideal fit for images and journaling to put in the smaller pockets as well.
I also worked on my Flikr account some yesterday. I have had it for a while but haven't done a lot with it so I decided to update it with some of my cards. Today I added several new cards I did for World Card Making Day. Well, for me it was World Card Making Weekend. I entered a few challenges and such. Several of my cards use stickers form SRM stickers.
Which are awesome! (the stickers, not the cards!)
One things I learned?
I love using that Take Note frame with patterned paper!!
Check it out:
And here is probably my most favorite card of the weekend. I used SRM stickers, some Fiskars star punches, Want2Scrap gems and hemp (which I am hooked on!). The big star is stamped with my Stars stamp set from Gina K Designs
Well, that's about it for today. I hope to be back tomorrow with more and then on Tuesday is the monthly Tami Mayberry Stamps blog hop.
I hope you'll join me!!
