Today I am excited to be hopping with not only my design team but Gina K Designs illustrator Beth Silaika and her team as part of the Show Me the Stamps monthly blog hop.
This monthly hop, which will be the second Tuesday of each month, will feature not only some of our newest stamp sets available through Gina K Designs, but also occasional prizes, sneak peeks and other surprise you won't want to miss so be sure and mark your calendars!
This month our design teams will be featuring ideas using my newest stamp set Take Note and/or Beth's new Wicked set.
Here is a peek at both of those sets:
For my Take Note card I created a birthday card. I stamped out a small "notebook page" using the frame, lines and stars from the set. I added a greeting from my Ticket Trio stamp set and some gems. I cut that out by hand and matted it with brown card stock. That was placed on a double layer card base that was topped with some Lily Bee Designs patterned paper and wrapped with hemp.
I also made a birthday card with Beth's Wicked stamp set. I stamped the star on white card stock with Clearsnap Fluid Chalk ink in Warm Red. I then punched it out with my Fiskars large star squeeze punch. I stamped the smaller stars with the same red ink and added some SRM stickers across the bottom for the greeting and to ground the image. Finally, I attached the punched star with a 3D foam square and placed it all on the white base.
When you get ready to hop today you may notice that my list is a bit shorter than usual. As I mentioned during our last hop, September was the final hop for the current team. My new team is now all set and ready to start with my next release (available in just 9 more days!).
If you love Clean and Simple or Graphic design styles you will not want to miss what the new design team has in store!!
In addition to Jennifer and Jamie, my digital and cut file specialist (both linked below) I am excited to welcome three more designers-- Kelley Eubanks, Laura Williams and Laurie Willison.
For today's hop, and even more inspiration, be sure and hop on through the blogs of both Beth's team as well as mine linked below.
