Handmade Holidays Blog Hop Final Day

Welcome to the Third Annual Handmade Holidays blog hop!! The best crafters, designers, and makers have come together to create and share a series of thoughtful, handmade gifts for the holidays during this 3 day blog hop. Our goal is to inspire you to create something from the heart this holiday season as well as share how to use our products in fun, innovative ways. We intend this hop to serve as a resource to you for this holiday season and for years to come.

For my second project, I am going to show you possibly one of the fastest little treat containers you will ever make. This treat holder was made using the Sizzix Bigz XL Treat Popper Die and is not only super easy it's a great one for kids to help out with as well. Perfect for parties, small gifts or even a classroom activity to take home to parents and family members.

Here's how to make it:

First cut the treat popper out from your chosen papers. You will then have a holder and a wrap.

Next add adhesive to the tabs.

Fold along the scored lines.

Use a piece of ribbon to tie one end shut.
Simply wrap it around the center and the pieces will come together as you tighten it!

Now all you have to do is fill it with goodies (a great job for the kids!) and tie the other end shut. It's all ready to decorate as desired. The wrap makes a perfect piece for attaching die-cuts, embellishments or even the name of the person the gift is going to.

Now, how easy was THAT!?

Hop along to each blog in the list. Each day, from November 1 through November 3, 2013, we’ll be posting a brand new list of blogs to hop to. Comment on each blog, share your favorite posts over social media, and then use the Rafflecopter widget at the bottom of each post to enter to win the Grand Prize, a gift basket filled with crafty swag from the companies on the hop! We’re ready to inspire, share, and create – are you ready to hop?

Great Christmas popper project. So colorful. We've always had these for Christmas, usually imported. Individualized ones like this would be more fun.
