About Me

My love of both photography and paper crafts have roots dating back to my high school years. In 1997 I entered into the world of scrapbooking. Since then my interest in both paper crafting and photography have expanded to include not only scrapbooking but cardmaking, altered arts, children’s crafts, illustration, how to articles and tech based designs. I am also currently working on a degree in Graphic Design.

I began working as a professional designer in late 2004. As a designer I have been published in a variety of US craft magazines including: Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers, Scrapbook Trends, Simple Scrapbooks, Paper Crafts (including 2010 stamping Royalty), PaperWorks, CardMaker, Cards, Paper Trends, PaperArts, Pack O Fun, Paper Made Easy and Creative TECHniques.as well as the UK magazine Papercraft Inspirations. My designs have been featured in books by Deluxe Designs, Pinecone Press, DRG Books, Annie’s Attic and Cantata Books. I have also worked on other projects such as CHA samples, Ad designs, Manufacturer make and takes, Scrap It! Girls Club and PaperWorks Kit of the Month Club.

I am currently Design Team Lead for Scor-pal, Illustrator/designer for Gina K Designs and designer for The Stamps of Life. I am also a designer/author for DRG Publishers (CardMaker magazine).

I am the founder of the Card Positioning Systems blog where I create and post a weekly card sketch challenge as well as hosting various card design contests. I also had this concept expanded into book form with my sketches featured in the CardMaker's Sketchbook, CardMaker's Sketchbook-Birthday Celebration, and Card Maker's Sketchbook-Birthday Celebration from DRG publishers as well as a the CardMaker Magazine sketchbook column that began November 2007.

As a writer, my projects include not only writing product reviews as a former member of the Scrapfriends review team but also several technique based articles for Cardmaker magazine.

I am prompt and dependable with all design work. I pay careful attention to detail and easily meet short deadlines and specific requests.
